Farmhouse
Set in almost 30 hectares of chestnut and hazelnut trees, the Agriturismo ‘La Gentile’ takes its name from the most prestigious quality of hazelnuts in our territory. Situated on the slopes of Monte Venere and overlooking Lake Vico below, it offers visitors a natural setting of rare beauty.
A farmhouse designed to welcome travellers who wish to relax for a few hours in a genuine and relaxing environment, just a few steps from Lake Vico; horses, dogs and farm animals form the backdrop to the panorama that can be enjoyed from every point of the Agriturismo.

Traditional cuisine
Our cuisine, seasonal, traditional but with a touch of creativity, uses raw materials produced on the farm (vegetables, meat, eggs) and an ethical and quality selection of non-self-produced materials.
Our specialities come from the products the farm produces, such as hazelnut pesto, Morellina or Salsa Piccante to taste cheeses, desserts made with Nellina or Marronella, homemade cakes and bread, and much more.
We pay special attention to guests with food intolerances.
.The traditionally-inspired menu, but with pleasant modern experimentation, mostly uses products from the farm: meat, pasta, bread, preserves, cheeses, sausages and seasonal products from the vegetable garden are all minimally processed so as not to alter the genuineness and naturalness of the raw materials.
At Agriturismo La Gentile we want to devote attention to those who wish to enjoy a rigorous and emotional cuisine that has no pretensions to superiority, but which is a guarantee of genuineness and love for the good things of the past and which creatively restores the best of tradition, spending time in a pleasant country setting, surrounded by a calm, intimate atmosphere.
Nello
Nello is the owner and chef of Agriturismo La Gentile and, at the same time, owns the farm. Nello has always had a passion for cooking but above all for the raw materials, the products that his land offers in every season of the year. 30 years of experience make him not only a good and well-prepared cook but, more importantly, through his dishes he manages to communicate emotions and passion for his cooking and his work.
Nello and his staff will welcome you into their home as guests and as friends, in a simple and informal manner, available to give you directions to the surrounding area or even just to chat with you, while respecting your privacy.
